  • What is Grounding?
Grounding, or "Earthing," is the practice of connecting directly with the Earth's natural energy to support physical and emotional well-being. Walking barefoot on natural surfaces, sitting on the ground, or simply touching the earth can help reduce stress, improve sleep, and promote overall balance. During this retreat, you’ll learn simple, science-backed techniques to integrate grounding into your daily life.
  • Will there be free time?
Yes! This retreat is designed for both guided experiences and, unstructured time for you to rest, reflect, or simply enjoy nature.
  • What happens if the weather is bad?
This retreat is all about connecting with nature, but if extreme weather makes outdoor activities unsafe, the retreat will be canceled, and you will receive a full refund. Light rain or variation in temperatures won’t stop us—we’ll embrace the elements!
  • When does the retreat start and end?
The retreat begins on May 16th at 2pm and ends on May 18th at 2pm. You’ll receive all the details about arrival and departure on an email.
  • How many women will be attending?
The retreat is intimate and small, allowing for a close and connected group experience. Exact numbers will depend on final registrations. Max of 10 participants
  • Do I have to participate in all the activities?
Not at all! This retreat is about restoration and choice. If you’d rather relax, journal, or just sit by the trees instead of joining an activity, that’s completely okay. This is your time, your retreat.
  • What is Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) is the practice of mindfully immersing yourself in nature using all your senses. It’s not about hiking or exercise but slowing down, breathing deeply, and noticing the sights, sounds, and scents around you. Studies show it can reduce stress, improve mood, and boost overall well-being—a simple yet powerful way to reconnect with yourself and the natural world.
  • Do I need any experience in nature therapy or forest bathing?
No experience is necessary! I will guide you through each practice while also giving you the opportunity to connect with nature in a way that feels right for you.
  • What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Therapy is a research-based practice for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments taking in all in through our senses. Studies have demonstrated a wide array of health benefits, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, and for stabilizing and improving mood and cognition. Forest Bathing is good for both physical and mental well-being. It is proven to reduce stress hormone production, improve feelings of happiness and free up creativity.
  • What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
If the weather is severe, we will reschedule the session. Light rain can actually enhance the forest bathing experience, so we’ll still meet unless conditions are unsafe. You’ll be notified in advance of any changes. If I need to cancel the session, you can either keep your ticket for the next one or ask for a refund.
  • I’m interested, but I don’t live in your area.
I would love for you to come....For obvious reasons, these session are in person but it you are curious about Forest Bathing, please join my online course, "How to Practice Forest Bathing." It includes a full recorded session that you can do in your local state park—or even right in your own backyard! You can check it out here:
  • What is the maximum number of participants?
The maximum number of participants allowed in a Nature Therapy walk is 10 to ensure that every participant has time to share and engage fully in the activities.
